Every member of the Australasian Philatelic Traders' Association (APTA) is a participant in the APTA program of Certificates of Warranty and Guarantee.
This Certificate is issued to their clients for a modest fee and is a written warranty from APTA that the purchased item is as represented in all respects. In the event that the item is proven by an appropriate philatelic expert or expert committee to be not as represented, a full refund of the purchase price is guaranteed.
This guarantee is valid for a full five years from the date of the purchase.
